Permanent solutions for moisture, mold, and humidity
Our Spray Foam Correction Service
We focus on lasting repair work, not short-term patches. When moisture, mold, or temperature imbalance develops after a spray foam installation, the underlying cause must be corrected at the source. Every step of our repair process is designed to restore the attic to proper function and prevent the problem from returning. Our team addresses structural issues, insulation failures, and air management problems so your attic becomes a stable, healthy, and fully conditioned space again.
Our correction services include:
1. Re-spraying missed or thin areas: We locate every spot where the original foam was applied too thin, was skipped entirely, or has detached from the surface. These weak points allow outside temperatures to enter the attic and create condensation. We apply new foam to seal all voids and restore a continuous insulation barrier.
2. Mechanical ventilation and dehumidifier installation: A sealed attic must regulate humidity in a controlled way. If your original installer failed to address moisture management, we integrate the systems needed to keep the attic dry and balanced. This can include whole-home or attic-specific dehumidifiers, fresh air intake systems, HVAC return adjustments, and airflow balancing. These components work together to prevent humidity buildup and maintain a stable conditioned environment.
3. Mold remediation and attic cleaning: If mold has developed, we remove it safely and completely. Our process uses EPA-approved antimicrobial solutions, HEPA vacuuming to capture spores, detailed surface sanitization, and enzyme treatments that break down organic growth at the root. This ensures the attic is restored to a clean, safe condition before insulation or airflow corrections are made.
4. Thermal and moisture barrier corrections: We verify that the insulation has proper thickness, full coverage, and uniform adhesion throughout the attic. Any areas that compromise the thermal boundary are repaired to ensure the entire space functions as a single, consistent envelope. Proper thermal coverage is critical to preventing future condensation or humidity issues.
5. Post-repair testing: Once repairs are complete, we retest the attic to confirm everything is performing correctly. This includes humidity checks, thermal imaging, and verification of air sealing and airflow balance. We provide a performance report so you can see the results of the repair work and feel confident that the attic is functioning the way it should.
