JIM SCHUELKE : Hey guys, this is Jim here with the Twin Plumbers!  I’m here with our customer Anthony, who called us out on a restaurant sewer odor that he was experiencing.  So, how did you find this, Anthony?

ANTHONY : Well, the odor came, we didn’t know where it was coming from, so we called you guys — and it looks like you found it!

JIM SCHUELKE : Awesome, thank you very much — and yeah, we certainly did!

We went ahead and ran our camera through the accessible clean out here underneath the restaurant.  What we found was water holding.  This is a colored sewer camera which identifies breaks, and as you can see there’s a lot of build-up in this particular line.  Right here is another area.

What’s also interesting about this line is that we also found some critters in here that are actually living in this environment.  We’re moving our lens through the water right now — you can see that there are some massive cockroaches as well.  Cockroaches love the environment of a lot of buildup, grease, sewer gases — they live through anything.

So if you’re experiencing sewer odors in your commercial building or restaurant, you may want to look at your sewer lines that could definitely be the cause.

    Alright folks, thanks for watching!
